Got a Duron Morgan, 1 GHz, and a Soyo K7VTA-Pro. At default voltages (1,75v), can get it to POST and run windows at (9*133=1200), but not quite stable...
(8.5*133=1133) seems to work fine though, so I guess the 133 FSB is ok. Setting (10*120), or even (10*115) won't boot, since my Voodoo3 does not like to work at AGP bus above 70 MHz, but at 133 MHZ the PCI bus is sent back to 1/4 divider.
I do not want to fry my new Duron in a few months, so I feel a bit conservative about changing cpu voltages to its max. But maybe just making sure the voltages meet the normal requirements of higher clocked Durons won't be that bad.
Anyone knows what are the default Vcore values for Duron 1200 and Duron 1300? Or have you already had any experience with overclocking the new Morgans?
