I have a thunderbird 850mhz. I asked about its default voltage a while back and I found out that its 1.70V. Anyways, when I put the settings in the bios of my K7T PRO2-A at "default", it sets the voltage to 1.85V. I don't know if that's a hardware problem or not....but I had to manually put it at 1.65V...then when I go into windows and using sisoft sandra 2001...it shows that the CPU is recieving 1.75V, which is okay I guess. Am I the only one with this problem?? or does anyone else experience the same weird voltage settings...?? I am not overclocking by the way....I just feel that the 850mhz chip is plenty fast for me right now...and yes, even for gaming.

I seem to remember someone else noting this also. Try something else besides Sandra to look at voltage. Did they ship a hardware monitor with it? Sandra has been known to give false results. My Abit KT7 was all wrong until I just got the updated version of the program. You might be showing the same wrong results.
