How can I disable the default user that we can choose at windows 2000 install, so that I don't automatically boot into that account, I tried deleting the user account but it stiil boot's into that user .......

Thanks

Login and log back out of the user you want as your default.

Or use TweakUI>Logon to log on automatically with configured user account.

I dont want a default user, I want to disable the default user that was configured a the install of windows 2000

what I mean by default user is not the name that is written at the logon window, it's that you can configure windows 2000 so that you don't have to logon manually, it boot's directly into a user account without asking for a password!

and it's that that I want to remove, the automatic login

Control Panel > Users & Passwords > check "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer"
