i limit my search to 1 day ... it works as a 'fix' to find all my recent posts
- are PMs messed up also?

Is FuseTalk "free" - or do they pay ATF to test it for them?

 Aren't you a mod? I thought they would tell mods these things at least.

Any plans to fix this prob everyone seems to be having? I can't find some of my most recent posts that have updated replies in them.

I have a feeling they don't check this area regularly because they are afraid of what they might find. ;)

Yes, they are working on it. However, I just said that so you'd feel better about it. :p :D

The descending view seems to work a *little* better this morning, not much though.

Pot luck here. It seems to ignore Off Topic the best.

I think the person responsible just disappeared and hasn't been back to check to see if any minor/major problems like the briefly-fixed-but-now-broken-again search function have re-occurred. :(

I have been 100% unable to search my posts and arrange by date for a longtime now. This makes it INCREDIBLY difficult to follow up on topics you participated in and even your own posts without out-right subscribing to them all. Honestly, I can't see how these forums are still somewhat active after so much time being broken like this.

Anyway, I hunted down a post of mine and clicked the user information button because the search function doesn't seem to be able to pull this up directly anymore. From there, I clicked the option to find all my posts. I then edited the URL to return thread topics instead of posts.

http://forums.anandtech.com/se...VAR_RESULTTYPE=threads

It works! Now I have it in my shortcuts. Edit my user name out and put in yours if you want to do the same.

Almost all of the changes made to this forum over the years has been for the worse. At least you can FINALLY open a search page in a new tab/window once again, but you still can't reply to a thread without haveing to log in, be taken away from it, and hunt it down again to get a reply button (or fight with the back button and then refresh the page, where your posts-per-page setting might result in only a quick reply box with no way to open the standard reply window) . Shouldn't the option be there and prompt you to sign in after you click it?
