Deer Season In PA (PEEAY)

Anyone else stoked for this Monday? (Yes, our schools are closed) HMMMMMM!! Deer scrapple if I'm lucky enough to get a buck.
 
Darn it! I thought deer season already opened 3 days ago in Peeay. And, there I was, freezing my butt off all morning today, 150 yards from Peeay, waiting for you guys to get cold first, walk around, and push the deer over to my side of the line (NY). Report for today: no deer... and, while normally I'll hear shots off in the distance every few minutes, I heard 1 shot between 6:30 and noon, and that shot came from about 4 miles away. Very little deer movement with the cold frozen leaves on the ground.
 
Sorry, Dr. Pizza. We always start on the first Monday after Thanksgiving. (rifle) I won't be pushing any your way. I'm hunting south central Peeay. Next year they might open rifle season the Monday before Thanksgiving. They're floating the idea, anyway. Check out http://www.huntingpa.com for a great site and message boards regarding all hunting in Peeay. AR(antler restrictions) is a real hot topic since it were introduced last year. Check it out. You won't be "out of the loop" on our seasons again!!!

Doe season was like a week and a half ago?
 
Elementa, all schools close the first day of rifle deer season in Peeay.(except maybe the real urban areas-places that have lost touch with the "real" world and are beyond saving now, in my opinion)
 
No, Anterless (doe) season is the same two weeks as "buck" now. I don't go after Doe. If I'm going to half kill myself dragging one out, it's going to have antlers, dammit!!!
 
WOOT! I HATE deer! Kill them ALL!

I live in south east PA and they just LEAP in front of my car when I'm cruising the backroads. If I had a pickup, I'd run them all over myself... but I have a mustang instead. Good luck and happy hunting. If you ever come around SE PA, I'll buy you the biggest ammo you want. Just kill them all.

I do think it was Bear season though in PA, see any bear?
 
Alright now, you guys got me home sick. I used to love the opening day especially if we had some fresh snow to track them in. We hunted in cambria county out on the state game lands. Haven't hunted out there in 8 years or so.
