So you think driving 60ish and having a deer jump out at you right as you pass is somthing that you can defend against? It would happen before you could even register seeing the deer at all...
I have hit smaller animals like that- you dont "see" the animal, u just hit it.
*edit* In some cases- I know sometimes you can avoid/swerve (might be more dangerous than hitting it)
