Maybe u like to test the new features:

- much more CSS and XHTML functions
- can deal with Apples/KDE's <canvas>
- lighter Renderengine with faster loads
- Improved "Back" and "Forward" functions. eg the websites are saved in the Cace instead of rerendering the old site is saved in Cache, which reduces Loadtimes when u jump back and forward to Zero.

Weird Logo?
Nope, its the standard-logo, the one u find when ur usin Linux 🙂 Looks like the firefox logo is not part of the Mozilla-Public-Licence..

After all the Alpha feels like Opera but alot more faster and free. Check it out 🙂

Cool stuff:
Translucent Windows (Windows/Linux)
On Windows and Linux, XUL windows with a transparent background are now supported. This allows whatever is below the window to shine through the window background.
I don't know exactly what that implies but it'd be really cool if you could use user style sheets to make the background of a webpage translucent 🙂
SVG Support
SVG is W3C specification providing resolution-independent scalable vector graphics, along with a DOM. A technology preview of native SVG support is included in this release. Currently a subset of SVG 1.1 Full, missing functionality includes filters, declarative animation, and SVG defined fonts.
How cool will embedding svg directly into your xhtml documents be and not having the client require a plugin from adobe  Of course, it all seems kinda pointless if IE doesn't support it but it'll be fun to play with.

And the other standards stuff like css3 support and xforms is great but, again, not extremely useful until IE supports it or people stop using IE...
