damnit, they wont honor my order for the discount. i ordered it a day before i knew about the sale and they said they can't give me the discount. i tried to cancel the order so i can order it again through the discount but they already were in the process of shippin so no luck

i know exactly how you feel . . . i ordered a couple of weeks ago (right after the 10% coupon expired, doh!) and am just receiving the set i ordered now (i think it should be here today). They said they wouldn't apply the coupon to it . . . i'm seriously considering just returning them and placing a new order . . . if i can ship back for free then i just may do that . . . their policy says that they will offer a full refund within 30 days for unopened items, so i think that should work out ok . . . no?

Picked up Buffy Season 7 for less than $36 (cheapest price around, especially since it just came out Tuesday / Today). Also, Star Wars original DVD trilogy for less than $34. Those were my two good deals with this.

WARNING !

Be careful when ordering. I have nearly $1000 worth of DVD's coming my way due to their site's inconsistent behavior. Upon final checkout, I got an error. I did not refresh but rather just closed the browser and actually shut down my system as I was done with it for several hours. Later in the day, I logged back on and checked my email ... no order confirmation yet after 8+ hrs. So I checked back at DDD and my shopping cart was still full and my order history showed O orders. This time I was able to check out with no problems and even got to the receipt page (to print). By the time I logged off for the night, I still had no email confirmation from DDD.

Next day I checked, and finally I have email order confirmations from DDD. Yep, I've got two huge duplicate orders coming from DDD. According to their CS, they can't stop anything from their end unless it's within the first hour or so of the order placement. Sure wish their email order confirmation came within an hour ... :|

I made 3 different orders during the promotion period using 3 different discount codes. One yesterday. I ordered an Alfred Hitchcock 5 DVD set with 10 movies from his 1930's British period (for under $15 after discount!) and another Hitchcock classic that I soon realized was in the first set. I called them about 1/2 hour later at the 800 number displayed at the website and a CSR told me they hadn't retrieved their online orders yet and I should call back in 1 hour (10 minutes after the scheduled download). I called then and cancelled the duplicate movie. I called them once before when I realized I didn't want one of their movies that they were sending me. I returned it (on my dime, I guess) for a refund.

Got my order in. Discount was applied to everything, including the out of stock items I ordered. Saved almost fifty dollars. Hats off to the OP.

EDIT: Arrrrgh! Just remembered a mini-series I was going to order, but did not. Oh well, it is only $22.00 or so regular price. Still hurts, though. :-/
