As usual, plenty was off from the predictions - but, lets take a look at what the gallery thought, shall we? The things people attacked most: the Ravens beating the Steelers and the Bengals improving from last year. How did those work out?

Either way, while we're a good way through the season, there's still a lot of football yet to be played, too.

It's gonna be a race between Dallas and NYG for the NFC East. The Giants have the tougher remaining schedule though. Either will get smoked easily in the playoffs though.

Not many people were picking the Chargers, but almost every analyst out there picked either the Packers or the Eagles for the NFC. Not too many people out there thought the Eagles would be in the position they are in now. Hindsight is always 20/20 in the NFL.
 
Picking the Chargers to even get to the Superbowl was, frankly, laughable.

But I have probably watched more Chargers football than anyone other than Chargers fans, as I have caught most of their games over the Norv years.

I thought they would win the AFC West, as most did - but I saw a first round exit. Looks like they won't even get close to sniffing the playoffs, much less win the division.

Well, they looked good early on (starting 4-1) which was actually a good sign for them. In recent years they've been slow starters, followed by a strong end to the regular season that flames out in the playoffs. Doing the opposite - actually starting strong - was interesting. Of course, that was before they collapsed in recent weeks....

edit: And no offense, but I tend to take people's harshly negative opinions of their division opponents with a grain of salt. Its kinda like when I say bad things about the Eagles...its expected 😉
 
I think nearly all of your other predictions were sound, and you picked the Eagles to win the NFC East, as many would have. I know I did. So your bias didn't affect you there.

The Chargers pick was crazy, sorry. My bias has nothing to do with that. I actually hate the Raiders a ton more than the Chargers and I can see them doing a little more than a first round exit if they get McFadden back healthy and Palmer continues to get better. I can admit that they are the clear favorites to win the AFC west, at the very least.

The team I hate the most, the Patriots, is where I'm truly biased. I pick for them to fall flat every year, I hope I'm right soon and another team wins that division. I can still hope for a first round playoff exit.

Same as for the Cowgirls, who I also have a deep and unrelenting hatred for 😉

Probably goes something like:

Patriots
Raiders
Cowgirls
Chargers

But mostly I just hate players more than teams. I am starting to really hate the Lions because of Schwartz and Suh. And I have to admit, Rivers has always been at the very top of that list.

yep, you crazy. only one kind of person in this world that would pick a chump like Tebow over a proven stud like Rivers.

(Rivers' current issues notwithstanding, of course. 😀)
