Dedicated server hosting?

Can anyone reccomend a good place to get a dedicated server?

Preferably some place relatively cheap, with reasonable support services.
FreeBSD would be a plus, but any Linux distro would work as well...

I'm pretty flexible with specs... preferably FreeBSD 4.x or 5.x, at least 10gb disk space, ability to have multiple domain names hosted on one server, 256mb or more RAM... how cheap can you do?

I basically need it because some stuff I'm doing with freinds/for school is in Java/C++ and PostgreSQL, so I need compiler access and Java support and I can't find any shared hosting that offers this. Not a lot of bandwidth, and no ta real powehouse server either.

I would look at a VPS

A VPS would be fit most of your space requirements, but I took a good look at WHT right now and can't find any reputable providers that offer them with FreeBSD. Therefore, you'd be looing at some low end celeron servers which would run you about $70-100, or a bit over $100 if you need a control panel.

A VPS would probably suite your needs better, but if not I could probably hook you up with a celeron 1.8 or 2.4, 80gb hdd, 512mb ram, 8 ips and 1000gb bandwidth with any *free* OS of your choice for around that price.

Server would be in a secure facility w/ backup generators. Bandwidth by three upstream providers (texlink, mci, and abovenet). The only support available would be for server/hardware/connectivity problems, nothing software related.
