Dedicated + integrated video for 3 monitors?

Anyone know if Intel integrated graphics and a dedicated card can operate at once to drive three screens simultaneously? I have a G33 motherboard with the GMA 3100 integrated and when I have a PCI-E card installed the integrated graphics won't work-- I have it set inthe BIOS to enable even when a dedicated card is installed, but it fails to actually function. With an ATI card, trying to enable the third monitor will simply not work, and with an nvidia card there's a BSOD when Windows tries to use the integrated.

So does anyone know if this is possible, or do I need to go get a second PCI-E card?

i dont think you can do it with the intel gma.

i know the radeon igp can do it with another ati card , the nvidia one might be able to also.

The ati 690g chipset does indeed support three monitors with an ati gpu (only ati gpu's are supported). I tried it with an x1950 - two monitors on it and one on the igp. Have tried nvidia's 6050 igp + 7600gt unsuccessfully although I've heard this "should work" - didn't try very hard.

I think the problem with > two monitors and intel igp's is the need for drivers from two different manufacturers since intel doesn't manufacture a gpu. One driver would have to be "in charge".
