Dedicated Cruncher: HOw to set up with no Hard-drive

Well the title says it all folks,

I'm adding a system, tearing down one, switching out components like a mofo and have come to the conclusion that the hard-drive that was to be destined for my 1.2 ghz Athlon dedicated Cruncher is really really annoyingly loud :Q & as this pc is in my room i would like to avoid having it there...

I know that there is some way to setup this system with only a floppy drive but i do not know how.

My question is:

-Can i setup this computer with only the Mobo/Ram/Processor/Network Card/Floppy Drive
-What do i Need
-Can only Seti run on such a setup or can other DC projects run without a hard-drive?
- If other DC projects can be run on a system w/out a HD which ones are they(that you know of) and particularly can Chessbrain be used in this manner

looks risky, i will have to give it a go, too bad it only appears to be able to work under Seti :/

Maybe the noisy HD will go into the system for now...
