dect 6.0 expansion handsets

I just bought a uniden dect 6.0 base phone that can handle up to 6 more handsets and was curious if they had to be from the same maker or if you could mix and match brands. I doubt it but it would be nice if you could.

not exactly, I did find out you can use DCX150, DCX200, and DCX300 from this pdf on the uniden website.

that info is on page 13.

tho it is easier to register the DCX150 with the base than the other 2.

I wish Motorola still made cordless phones. I had a nice set a few years ago. Wanted to add handsets and I couldnt find any.
Had to get a 5 unit set from Panasonic, which is OK, but not great.

ya, I know what you mean, I still have a Moto cordless with answering that on the handset the buttons gets hard to make contact and every so often I'd have to take it apart and clean it out. it would be good for about 6 mo. and then I'd have to repeat the process.

Uniden makes the best cordless IMO.

Long ago I had an Escort (yes, Cincinnati Microwave maker of radar detectors) that was amazing! This was an early 900mhz Digit Spread Spectrum. It had amazing range. Cost $300 for a single handset unit though. Perfect for running a storage unit property.

Moto still makes cordless phones, or at least still sells them. Siemens makes the best ones though IMHO.
