Both are right. Neither did the temp reach temps high enough to melt steel, as your own official report says, and the eye witness' saw a river of steel at the base of the WTC. If I'm not mistaken it lasted over a week before it cooled, but I'm hazy on this detail.

As I've said before, the "river of steel" idea is physically implausible, specific efforts would have to be made to keep steel in a totally melted state long enough for anyone on the ground to observe it...anything near a week is totally impossible under ANY circumstances. I'm not going to break out the materials engineering and calculus text books (I'm not quite sure you'd appreciate them in any case), but ask anyone remotely familiar with materials engineering to explain why your supposed eyewitnesses must have all been on acid to see what they saw.
