question, do you have to declare to the gas company that your gas is also used for heating purposes? it makes not difference to the bill but i have seen the following....
a 2 family house HAD 2 gas systems, but 1 heating system for both floors.
the heating systems became seperated such that each floor's own heating system gets it energy source from its own gas system... thanks to a contractor
the bills still obviously categorized on the bill for 1st floor residental + heating.
but the 2nd floor still is not listed in such way...
does the gas company need to be updated? makes no difference... unless there is some law? and does this mean the send a gas inspector to check the work of the contractor?
