hmmm...i have access to (free) chris rock tickets @ the schottenstein center here in columbus, ohio. problem is though I have a database class and an engineering meeting. Do I blow off my class and meeting or do I go for the comedy. I am so torn.

Can you make up the class, or learn the material by yourself? Can you get a friend to take notes on what goes on at the meeting, and copy another friend's notes for the class? Then go.
 
I would feel guilty about the class. I skipped on class last week and we do get our tests back today. Material isnt that bad today we cover EER model for DBS (its a long hour and 15 minutes). I also had to bail on my last engineering meeting because I had an dinner interview for a job. I dont want to leave my group hanging.

but, I have a voice in my head saying, dude its chris rock and its going to be fun...
 
Can you reschedule the meeting? Tell them something came up?

Unfortunately if I was in your shoes I'd go to the class & meeting, but I'm too responsible for my own good. :disgust: I'd much rather see Chris Rock.
 
Chris Rock is a no talent hack, he doesn't even writ ehis own jokes any more. Have some class and go to class.
