Decisions, decisions, 939..... !!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm updating my system from an Asus P4P800 w/P2.8 and going with a 939 board. My question is quite simple. I've read quite a bit on this site, and have searched, but still don't know what MB to go with, and if I should wait for the FX-55 ?? I'm in no hurry, as I do have a running system right now, but would appreciate any opinions or advice. I've had Asus and Abit MB's, and have had good luck, but I've pretty much been an Intel person to date. I don't have that much experience with newer AMD processors or MB's. I do use SCSI drives, so I don't need all the fluff with SATA, onboard RAID, etc...., but I guess that's part of the package from what I've read.
Are Shuttle or MSI good boards ? No experience whatsoever with these.
And, can I push the memory a little. I see where most of these boards take 3200 DDR; can't you use some faster stuff if you purchase quality memory ???
Anyway, any comments appreciated.
Thanks.

This would be a good combo:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (Winchester)
ASUS A8N-Ultra motherboard (nForce4)
OCZ PC-3200 Platinum Rev. 2
ATI X800 XT Platinum Edition
