my recent motherboard died (sd-11) i don't what the reason is, no power coming out of this, tried everything from taking off all the card to changing power supply even buying the new battery but to no avail.... So my decision is to buy a new mobo for my k7-700 slotA so i was thinking of getting an asus(i forgot the one with the jumper setting) but i have to have a ISA slot too for my hardware modem. so should i loose the isa modem and get a PCI for asus or go with Abit that has a isa slot? gee, i kinda like having that jumper setting thing on the motherboard

Well, I use the Abit Kt7 raid board in another system & it runs quite well. But I haven't used a slot-a Abit board, so I really couldn't say one way or the other.

I have used the Asus k7m & know it's solid.
