Deciding on Pictures (art)

I am studying artwork. Need some feedback.
Here are the details:

Picture #1: Picture of a bear wearing a police uniform watching a 3d television, and holding a cc, with a look of bewilderment on his face.

Picture #2: Picture of a quasi-scientist attempting to turn turn base metals into gold. His shirt appears to have a hole in it, and a popular department store is in the background.

Which picture is more appealing to you and why?

picture No. 1 is Trite & Lacks Imagination...

picture No. 2 can be thought provoking IF you change background to "11 furniture" (in simplified charactors) web photo --- ie: 11 furniture is copy of ikea store "concept"/ikea "imaging" & is making money - useless broke store turned into valuable money making winner by chinese alchemist

west confronted w/ serious issues & still will not respond - what exactly will it take to move you (global statement)? aside to viewers...

Picture 1 is more interesting.
Picture 2...been there, done that. Alchemy's been around for a long time.

I voted for the scientist because I'd rather picture him with no clothes than picture the bear that way. Maybe he's hot! Yummm. Maybe he's not hot, but he has a big - brain. Maybe he's ugly and nerdy but he's never had sex and our first time is going to be so intense!

And then we can go into that department store and work our way thru the mattress department, the bedroom furniture department, the ladies' sexy lingerie department, the men's skimpy thong underwear department, the vibrating massager department, the hot tub department, the chinese herbal enhancement department, and the diamond engagement ring and the wedding departments. Oh, and the fine chocolates department too.
