OK, well currently I have a Hewlett-Packard XT878 that im getting fed up with. Got it a little over a month ago thinking that it would be easier to get a "Ready-made" PC instead of putting a little time in setting one up. Here are the specs of it now: 1.3 ghz AMD Athlon, 512 megs DDR, 80 gig HDD, TNT2 Pro Vid Card. I have been having problems with this thing playing Simple games like Unreal Tournament, and just wanna start from scratch and know that the parts aren't just thrown together. Want im asking of you is to give some good examples of Components to go in it. Such as Case, HDD, Mobo, so on. I would like to keep it pretty close to what I have now. Don't need as much HDD drive though, thats just too much for me, would rather have a 7200 rpm. Heres what I have in my head so far. 1.3-1.4 Athlon, Asus A7M266 or A7V266(which would you recommend?) Good Video card, 19" Monitor......
Please give me some ideas and any insight you may have.
