Deciding on graphics: ATI vs. Nvidia

I came down to two options but need some input on deciding which one:
x1800xt or BFG 7900 GT.

Didn't find too many reviews on the ATI on Newegg.
Would the ATI's 512MB make a whole lot of difference?

I'm looking for mainly the most bang for the buck, stability, and performance.

EDIT: changed to X1800

The 7900GT will kick the stuffing out of the X1600Pro. Not even close. That is a *horrific* price on the X1600Pro; 512MB of RAM on that card is simply worthless.

Of course, you should be comparing it against the X1800XT, which is actually comparable in price and performance.

x1800xt 512 will make a differnece like the 7800gtx 512 to the normal gtx

also the 1800 would win in a fight to the death against the 7900gt =)

The X1800XT 512 has faster core/memory speeds than the X1800XT?
