I posted this in cases and cooling as well, but since this forum gets more attention I felt it necessary to post here too.

Sunon 80MM Super High Output 50.6CFM @ 3500RPM @ 40.6dBA
Panaflo 80MM Super High Output 47CFM @ 3400RPM @ 38dBA
ThermalTake Smart Fan 2 20.55CFM @ 1300RPM @ 17dBA or 75.7CFM @ 4800RPM @ 48dBA

What are your requirements? Do you want something quiet or something powerful? If you just want the most cooling, the fan with the highest CFM is the obvious choice (generally; depends on placement, etc.).

Well, I wasn't clear...I want good cooling but with a good noise level too. Basically what is the best all around fan?

Um... "good cooling" and "good noise level" are pretty subjective.

Is your system overheating right now? Is your CPU temp higher than 50 C? If not, why bother installing a case fan at all?

i'm replacing old slow moving fans in my case. my CPU is using a Thermaltake Smartfan 2 running 4800RPM and my other fans don't oush enough air for my case.

I can get Smart Fans for $8 each

basically I was wondering what fan is the best overall. In terms of giving proper airflow for how much noise it produces. Efficency I mean. 80CFM at 80dBA is crap, but 50CFM at 40dBA is pretty decent.

only problem with panaflo...every one I buy needs a tail for $1 each which brings them to $11 each
