You should have gone with the CPU/Vid Card. Then bought a Nintendo Gamecube next fall.

If I actually had a TV I might want a PS2, but primarily for it's DVD capability. Tekken Tag would just be an added bonus. As it stands right now, I'm working on setting my comp up for DVD playback. Got the Hollywood+ hardware decoder, now I need a DVD drive... Plus a quieter computer...

That's pretty much how I see it to, Viper. Instead of spending $350 (CAN$) on a good DVD player, I may as well get a top notch console out of it too for a mear $100 more.

GOOD FOR YOU! I think that the PS2 is gettigna bad rap round here, but it is a very good gaming machine with DVD to boot. Now go out and buy yourself a copy of Mindnight Club Street Racing, you won't regret it.

I'm sorry to tell all of you that there are a LOAD of products out there that have Rambus products in it than you might know. Rambus owns a Load of patents that are being produced by the Gobs. RDRAM isn't their only product.

Most gaming consoles WILL always have it. Simply becuase of the bandwidth.

It might suck in a PC, but it works dandy in a gaming console.
