ok here goes..... after getting a red MSI mobo (K7T266-Pro2) i've got the tricked bug....


with that in mind i decided to go all out... i only came to this decision after the first 845D board i got (asus P4B266-C) was DOA.... per anand reco i went with a Gigabyte board, not the exact model but the base model(he reco'd the 8IRXP, i got the 8IRX)

so by the end of the week i'll be 100% rounded cables(black SCSI, red IDE and blue floppy) red gainward GF3TI200, blue Gigabyte GA-8IRX/Netgrear NIC, and an Alpha PAL 8942... only green things being my TV card and SCSI card...


anybody else start down this road, or already traveled it to the end?

Can't even see my mobo through the mass of heatsinks & cables I've got in there. Even though it sounds like it, airflow is still wonderful (case temps of 25*c with a 22*c room temp only using 3 Panaflow 80mm L1A's). Anyways, why not color-coordinate them?
 
Yea, I got that red Gainward card too, it's a beaut, works great too. Red rounded cables in my Lian-Li case, looks good.
SOunds like you might be ready to mod with a side window, cold-cathode lights too perhaps?
 
yeah the window would be the evolutionary step in my rigs life.... some sort of light or LED might coincide with the window...🙂
