I want to buy the NVidia RTX 3060 TI Founders Graphic Card that was 1st releases in: December 2020!

Rumor has it that NVidia will improve and update this card with more VRAM and faster GDDR6X VRAM!

What do you think?

Will NVidia will releases new version of NVidia RTX 3060 TI Founders Graphic Card?

When do you think they will have it in the stores if they decide to improve it?

If not, will NVidia continue making the NVidia RTX 3060 TI still?

Things are always fluid with cards these days when it comes to updates and releases.

3060 at this point probably won't make a resurrection if there's 5 new models around the corner. With the news of EVGA dropping NVIDIA it compounds the issue around forecasting what's coming through the pipeline.

There could be a refresh coming with the upgrades you mention but, there's also the chance it will come under a different model number with similar specs.

I think that the 3060 is the most likely to stay or be updated actually. Nvidia has so many old chips to get rid off and in the past they've also kept selling the 2060/1660 variants next to new generations.

The 3060 Ti would normally be less likely, because it uses a more expensive chip, but Nvidia may need to do that to get rid of those chips. I assume that they can't find a place for the 3070 next to their new lineup.

There most likely won't be any 30 series founders cards made ever again. Production is already being switched over to the upcoming 40 series cards. AIB cards will most likely remain for some time.

If you really want a 3060/3060Ti, you will need to buy a card from one of the other vendors.

:)Just payed for it at BB online! MSRP too! Pickup in store on the 24th September! :D:D:D
It is just what I wanted(see above) because it manufactured by NVidia, looks cool, right size(length), powerful and meets my PSU size!

It was way beyond the time for me to upgrade since the graphics card is 6-7 years old technology.

Will be using my new RTX 3060 TI for internet web browsing, YouTube! and paid streaming content like Paramount Plus. Will be replacing my Gigabyte GTX 1050 TI.

Getting a brand new graphics card that one desires at MSRP at an authorized seller is just unbelievable to me!o_O The cryptocurrency mining held me back from making a new buy until now!

This may seem strange but $400 price is cheap, bargain now! LOL!

Did your 1050ti handle all of that?
The 1050 TI with 4GB GDRR5 held up. But on some webpage sites there a delay in displaying, maybe a 1/4 second. I want instantaneous page display that I was use to when to 1050 TI was brand new! I think webpages filled with much more stuff to slow down my old 1050 TI and I upgraded to a new desktop PC too!

My MacBook Pro 16” 2021 (M1 Pro SoC) is instantaneous on all sites! Got it from a friend at a great price since he getting the 2022 model in October!

I have a 3060 in my laptop and it doesn't do web pages very well but the Intel Iris handles them great. In comparison on a different laptop the GTX1650 handled the web pages better and the UHD didn't. It's going to be a test on what you're using it for to see if it does indeed work better. Otherwise it's $400 you could have saved until the next releases come to market. I would have figured the 3060 would handle things better but, in my case it's great for games but not for day to day stuff.

Sorry to hear that! Could be that other components could be the cause of the bottleneck like older SSD, lack of memory or older CPU(# bits in throughput aka # of lanes)!

I just checked the Nvidia sell through inventory. It shows one 3060ti was sold in the last 3 days worldwide. Was that you and your card?

Founded out that my router node had a problem! Rebooted it overnight and the webpages are fast now using my current 1050 TI card! Might return the 3060 TI when it arrives at my local BB. I have several days left to ponder this purchase yet! LOL! o_O  :D

Check the 1050 ti low profile card prices on eB*y and it around $80-$150. It is old so maybe it best to just keep the purchase anyways?

He didn't have to wait long, though.
I am trying to determine if it is installed.

I think he mentioned in another thread he was considering returning it and buying an Arc 770:

For his use case, it is possible that could work equally well for him:

Although, to be fair many graphics solutions would work well in his use case.

I guess I am mildly curious as to what he ended up doing.
