Decided on 7600GS...

I am buying a new card for mostly one game, Battlefield 2. I was set on the x800GTO2 until I heard bad things about open-box's on Newegg, so I am NOT going to take a chance.


The card will likely be paired with:
3000+
1GB Ballistix
DFI Ultra-d

And I can only game at 1024x768. Do you guys think that this card will suffice? I'll be sure to get the eVga, that way if i DO stumble across $75 in the next 3 months, I can always got 7600GT .

Do any of you have any experiences with this card?

my x800gt can play bg2 at high at 1028x768.
7600gs should be more than enojgh.

What was your budget?

7600GS are fine.

Should be good for upcoming quake wars.

Well, I have about $170 to get a GPU and B2(and SF) so I figured I can budget about $130 for a GPU...
