I have not heard this sub, but once this was on sale for 80 bucks. It does get pretty good reviews.
But...
Depending one what you want your sub for. Most people want a sub to shake the house when they hear a car explode or some other impact from a movie. A 10" will do the job... But a 12" is kind of the sweet spot for movies.
The BIC H-100 is a great subwoofer for the money as well. It definitely packs some power and produces some very clear bass. It's so powerful for my theater room, that I actually have to turn down the bass for some people when they come over because they say it's too much for them.
