My freebie 1280x1024 LCD from 05 is finally dying so I'm looking for a replacement. It's only use is to provide a display for servers, desktops, workstations, and other equipment being tested and setup. I'm unable to find another freebie so I'm looking to speed around $50 on a ~17" 4:3/5:4 monitor with DVI and VGA; Not really interested in 16:9 monitors due to them taking up more space and being more expensive.

Anybody know of anything out there that this criteria?

Ended up getting a lightly used Dell P1917S from ebay for $72 total. A lot of these refurb sellers don't ship to APO; but, this particular seller did and provided plenty of images. A bit more expensive but it has an IPS panel, USB 3.0 hub, HDMI, and DisplayPort so it seemed worth it.

Anybody know what panel these 19" 1280x1024 IPS' are? Seems a few manufacturers are all using the same panel but I don't know what it is or who makes it.
