Decent sounding, smallish 2.0 computer speakers?

I moved my mac into the living room and can't bring my bulky 2.1 speakers into the common area. I need a smallish 2.0 (NOT studio monitors) that's decor friendly and sounds decent enough for music. I airplay to a near by 2.1 stereo system when I really want to crank it, so nothing too fancy.

I don't really have one. I don't expect amazing performance so was thinking $50ish would work. In fact, I have a small amp already and considered getting some $50 bookshelf speakers for the sonic quality, but I really want to avoid too many wires and would prefer something unobtrusive vs. fidelity

Audioengine A2 fit the bill as they are super tiny and look good plus sound good.

I recommend Logitech speakers they are small cheap and sound great.
