would the psu on this case be enough for 2gigs of ram, 3ghz e4400, 8800gts 320mb, 2 hdd's, cd drive, and 3-4 120mm fans?

HERE (fixed)

430watts, 20a on each rail...seems good. right?
this is a rather inexpensive build, and I want to keep the cost down as much as I can...

The URL you gave is not working properly...

Personally I never buy a PSU that comes bundled with the case!!
My very first build I did...but no more!!

personally I would say you are pushing it....

I would buy a case seperately and the the PSU seperately!!

But in the end its your decision!!

Good Luck!!

I really do not understand why people want to skimp on the case and psu when they can obviously afford quality hardware. That Athenatech uses a low end Topower psu with only 27W combined 12V. The efficiency is also lackluster.

If you want a case/psu bundle I would highly recommend the Sonata III w/ EarthWatts 500W psu

Highlights:

1) 80%+ efficiency
2) low noise
3) single 12V rail
4) built by Seasonic
5) 3 yr warranty

Check out JonnyGURU's review of the EarthWatts EA500 which earned a 9.5 for performance (most important) and overall a 9! It isn't pretty, but how often do you stare at the psu housing?

Athenatech has a couple of decent models of PSUs in some of their cases (Sparkle/Fortrom and I forget the other) but they also put L&C in some of them. Newegg used to give a good shot of the PSU in the cases so you could tell who actually made them - I don't see a good shot of the PSU label in that case. The power is adequate for most any system if it is a decent quality PSU.
