Circuit City has a Proview 17" CRT Monitor monitor for $89.99 after rebate at Circuit City. It seems OK for anyone desperately needing a monitor.

Hmm, an extra monitor? $90 sounds pretty good. I wonder if the B&M stores will have this.

IMHO this is a very Crappy Monitor, I know so cuz I have one... It is very blurry and color will fade out very fast... Just add a little more $$ and get a bigger better monitor elsewhere...

I'm running a 19" Proview that I got for about the same price from ValueAmerica during the heyday of deals on the internet. I can't stand the thing. The only worse monitor I've seen is a Proview 17" that flickers like mad. The geometry is always screwed up on the thing. The picture is pretty lousy. I'm just too cheap to buy a new one.

I'd avoid Proviews. Invest a little more money in something more decent. It does pay off. I know it will for me one day when I dump the 19"...:)

I got a proview too and it sucks compared to brand name like sony, samsung. It is grade C, very crappy to people who are used to high quality stuff. Look at the back, and it say made in China. hee, go figure. know what's sad, even compaq monitor is better then proview in term of picture quality. makes me wanna take this sucker to the backyard and beat the crap out of it. :D and yes it does flicker alot and I am getting very dizzy.

I've got a proview ps910a 19" monitor. I don't know what I paid for it, but probably around $150 less than a year ago. Anyway, much to my surprise it is a great monitor. I don't know if the one for $90 is as high quality, but I am very satisfied with mine. Bright, crisp, the only thing is I can't get any resolution to work higher than 1024x768, probably my motherboard intel graphix though.

I have a ProView 17". It is a piece of crap. The refresh rates are pathetic and even though my comp gets 8200+ 3dmarks, games arent smooth at all. I'd spend twice as much money and get ten times the quality, since monitors are a pretty important overall part of your computer.

Made in China is not the reason for the poor quality of the monitor. Most monitors nowadays are made in China, even including top brands like SONY in your eyes.
But I agree this model is one of the worst I have even seen.
