Decent overclock on 128mb 9800 Pro?

I have the 256-bit 128MB Version of the 9800 Pro, and out of curiosity I tossed an Ati Silencer and Zalman Ramsinks on it. It's stock 380/680. What is do you think will be the highest stable OC I can get with this on air?

Hm using air? I have the ATI Silencer running as well as the aluminum Zalman ramsinks and I get nailed on the final tests of 3DMark03 whenever I go over 393.75. 393.75 is the highest core I can get 3DMark03 to run without the card simply putting out. =O What am I missing here?

I was 415/385. OCing is just the luck of the draw sometimes. That's as far as I pushed it. Don't really where the limit was. The vid ram in it was Samsung. Don't know which core it had as I didn't wanna remove the HS.

Mine was with stock cooling, however I've got/had a case blowing on it (its blowing on my 6800GT now)

450MHz+ on the core (depends on weather) with a 9800 non-pro, 325MHz on the RAM cos it's Infineon crap.
Fairly sure the core will be an R350, since it's a relatively old np.
AS5 with Arctic Cooling VGA silencer.

Under load for over 6 hours on a hot day using find max core/max mem, ATI Tool gave me 430/365.

I had it set to be anal when it came to artifacts and bump the overclock down if it even sniffed one.

Wonder how far Id get if I tried manual overclocking and going by visual artifacting only.

Sapphire Radeon 9800Pro - 128meg - 256 bit - R350 core - didnt check ram.
Zalman VF700-Cu + Zalman Ramsinks
Arctic Silver 5

I oc'd my r360 core 9800p to 440/375 using the zalman fv700cu. Also, use rthdribl to test for artifacts, it's really sensitive to errors, probably even more so than atitool

Can you actually run a full 3dmark03/05 with those clocks? Max core I get from ATITools find max core is 409 but it bombs on the final tests on 3dMark everytime - card just fritzes and I get a nice new abstract multicolored painting via LCD screen.

Yeah, it runs 3dmark05 no problem, scores a whopping 3000 (on a barton cpu), but it's pretty good compared to 2500 for a stock 9800p. If the card is not stable, increasing the agp voltage slightly helps sometimes, but only if you have a good aftermarket cooler. Definitely not recommended with the stock cooler, and like I said, use rthdribl to manually test for artifacts, because it detects them earlier than atitool.
