I did a search and I see a lot of mention of high-end lcd -- but waht about the middle range (preferably something that newegg sells)? For example is the samsung 171s ok or the hansol 711 or KDS or ...
This is for a non-game machine but I'd like vibrant colours and such (lots of web viewing (mosaic) and text processing with scrolling.... Ya know the unix sort of stuff... -- something in the 500 to 600 range...
