Decent mid to mid-high card?

Have always purchased ATI cards but am looking to switch to Nvidia and don't know much about their cards yet. Am looking for opinions on cards in the 100-250 range at this site: http://www.canadacomputers.com...&cmd=pl&id=999.243.390

These are your options:

Asus 9800GT $144 AR
Asus DK GTS 250 $185 AR
BFG GTX 260 $215

Obviously the more you spend the faster card you get. All of cards seem to be worth their performance at these relative performance. I suggest you get the GTX260 if you possibly can.

Right now in the Hot Deals section there is a GTS250 512MB for only $99 after rebate. The 260 is certainly faster, but at $99 that's a very good deal. You could get two of them if you can run SLI.

And in no way am I trying to talk you out of anything Nvidia, if you have your heart set on Nvidia then by all means go for it. But, there is also a 4890 for sale at $156.xx (or it could be ~$175, there seems to be some discussion in that thread on it) after Live Cash back, coupon code, and rebate. I know you said Nvidia based, but that is such a good deal you should at least know about it.
