So, my wife and I just bought two laptops (a 13.3" and 14"), and we need carrying cases/bags to protect them. Usually, I go straight to case logic, as they have had superb products in the past. However, the case logic model for the 14-inch'er apparently has no padding on the bottom or sides! I assume the same problem will go with the 13.3-inch'er.

So, do you recommend any decent laptop bags or bag manufacturers? There are hundreds and hundreds of bags to choose from on amazon, so it's not really feasible for me to wade through all those. I am, therefore, hoping to get some good ideas from y'all : )

Thanks guys!

P.S. I need something with a shoulder strap and extra pocket(s) for cords/mice.

I'm a bit of a bag addict, and not cheap ones. I have multiple Osprey backpacks, Tenba camera bags, a few Tom Bihn bags, Gregory backpacking bag, Maxpedition man purse, a nice distressed brown leather laptop bag, a nice black leather laptop bag. And a JetPen laptop bag. In the past I have had others.

I read a review for this JetPen Nomadic Walker and had to try it. Best laptop bag I've owned and currently own.

Just the right amount of compartments with perfect ones for your mouse, charging brick and everything else you need to carry with you. And it looks sleek and not bulky at all. It also has a very unique look while still being subdued vs a lot of the cookie cutter bags out there which all look the same.

You need to get a padded laptop sleeve for your laptop. It fits my 15" dell in sleeve no problem. Mine is gray, unlike the black one at the link below.
