Decent ITX mobo

Been out of the loop on SFF setups, what's a decent ITX board. This will be for my wife's machine. I still haven't bought the cpu so I am open to any chipset. The main purpose of this pc will be to edit pics and videos, so more then likely will go with a i7 3770 or the Haswell counter part.

That board (ASRock B85 chipset ITX) should be a very good budget choice for non-overclocking. Depending on when you hope to be building her machine, may want to wait to see what other companies have. They've all announced their high end stuff, but only ASRock paid attention to the lower end for launch. I fully expect to see more choices in the future.

What kind of processor you want to use?

Here are some other MINI-ITX Haswell Motherboards. I dont see any money Savings by purchasing socket 1150 motherboards unless you plan on using an i-5 or i-7 Haswell CPU.

I did not see these on Newegg . . . . I noticed them a couple days ago while I was looking at diff Websites.
The Asus board is priced about normall but the Gigabyte one has the Wireless card with bluetooth.

Most people that purchase the first run motherboards for Haswell are probably gamers, since the i3 processors are not out yet.

Just did one yesterday for a friend. Asrock Z77E-ITX and i5-3570.
Close choice between the Asrock and the Asus Z77 Deluxe. If you have a Microcenter near you can get $40 off the MB with purchase of the processor. The board list for $169 and is on sale for $124.99 -$40 comes to only $84.99. The I5 is $189 (in store only)

Have built a couple with i7 Haswell's and don't see any advantage. A bit slower, in practice, an actually a bit hotter in spite of lower TDP. I won't buy another Haswell. I like the Asrock better than the Asus Deluxe, surprised - and much cheaper. It is stable @ 4.5 on stock voltage! Corsair water-idle 33C and haven't seen load over 50C. AMD 7870, Benifix Prodigy case. Silent and handles anything you might want. 840 Samsung Pro. The Asrock comes with a ton of pretty nice software also.

If you really want Haswell there is the Asrock Z87 version of this board also.

I'm running an Asrock z77E-ITX with a 3570k as well. Its a great board.
