It needs to be AGP, and preferably passively cooled.

I don't play any games, ever.

I was thinking Radeon 9550 or 9600SE.

I want the hardware MPEG decode, hardware de-interlacing and dxva/ vmr9 compatability on the Radeon cards above 9500.

The 9600 SE is "crippled" with half the bit width, is that right? Does that even matter if I am only using for DVD, divx playback?? Do the older NVIDIA cards have hardware de-interlacing?
