1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
BF3 CoD WoW, skyrim, and maybe some more newer.

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
Willing to go up to about 700-800

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
United States
4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.

Dont really have a preference, no nvidia though, dont really like them.

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
PSU(if possible, mines 500w) Harddrives(2tb) Monitior, keyboard, mouse, cables(lol) LEDs

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
Yah

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
OC
8. What resolution YOU plan on gaming with.
Idk, something higher
9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
about christmas time or so.
10. Don't ask for a build configuration critique or rating if you are thin skinned.

I basically want a gaming pc that will keep up for a little. Would like to go with the color red as a base. I dont know if i want air or water cooling, because of my budget. Really want to have a good build.

It's about 2.5 months too soon to pick parts then. Prices and the best values change often.

Probably 15-2500K, ASRock Z68 motherboard, 8 GB RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, -some red case-, Some ~$200 GPU which today would be a 560 ti but who knows in Dec?

If you aren't building a complete system right now, it might be best to just set the money aside and hope for some crazy Black Friday deals around Thanksgiving. That way you'll also still be in the 30-day return window for any defective parts.

^I agree, come back around Thanksgiving. Good deals change in days or weeks, and we are expecting Bulldozer and next gen GPUs to come out (hopefully).

Agree 100%. Nothing sucks worse than having a defective part sitting on your shelf for months.
