o sorry looking for like 17" + core 2 duo 2 gig ram decent graphic card, ect.. im a noob on these sort of stuff that why i was hoping if guy know anything good for around $1500 -

dell vostro...has 1680x1050 (maybe 1920x1200 if you go for the 17" model), 8600GT 256MB as an option and 2GB.

I've seen the Toshiba X205's going for $1600 buyouts on ebay. Thats pretty nice deal for that lappy.

Can customize some nice lappys at Xotic-PC.

damn i just checked out the pricing on the vostro. they are cheap! not sure on the build quality, etc. though 😛

if you're looking for DX10 card laptops, Asus is a little expensive right now but u might be able to find one

The Vostro's are supposed to be geared towards small business, so I'd imagine that the build quality would be pretty nice.
