decent gaming card for a small cube case

Hi all. my first post too the forum. Im looking for a vid card for my new setup:
asus z97I MB,
intel I7-4970k CPU,
16 GB crucial ballistic ram,
Gabriel gamer Storm cooler.
asus 24" lcd HD display
coolermaster 110 cube case
so i need a good short vidcard to fit in the case and have decent gaming performance . im kinda partial too nvidia cards and play a lot of FPS style gaming. any recommendations???

you bought all that stuff so it seems you have pretty good basic hardware knowledge. so are you not familiar with the 750 ti? they make some really small versions of those.

Looking at your rig barring the cpu typo I'm guessing your looking for something more powerful than the 750 Ti would be. No mention of budget.

What power supply did you get?

They do make ITX versions of some cards.

Hello again wow thanks for all the replies, my PS is a Corsair cx 430 , i have actually been looking at the 750 ti it seen to be a decent card its is on ny maybe list and with these recommendations its furter up on the list thanks

I would also go for a 760 GTX. Good price and you will run smooth any game on the market atm.

yeah but i am a fan of nvidia i think they are a better choice. thanks anyway

meh. I just buy the best price/perf at the time though that tends to be amd. 760 is a good card and was my choice while the 7950/7970 were costing more

At the very least wait a week for Nvidia's big event. Very likely there will be new cards to pick from.

and possibly lower prices on current ones. I doubt the new cards will be too affordable... nvidia..
