Hey anyone know of a decent battery company for a 9cell battery for the E1505? The dell one absolutely sucks, even rated 1 star on their own site lol and it is $300!

What do you mean by "it sucks"? Do you have any experience with it? If so, how old is the battery?

It's probably rated 1 star more because of how expensive it is.

A little under 2 years, it lasts about 30 minutes just surfing the web now. And it wasn't really even used all that much.

A 9 cell? Do you have the power settings turned down to max battery with QuickSet? I'm surprised it's so depleted though, being 2 years old. My 8-cell battery is at 70% of it's original capacity after a little over 2 years.

Of course, # of cells does not determine how long it will last. It's all about the amp-hours that the battery can store.

Aye it is 9 cell, the bios itself says the battery is at the end of it's life and the battery icon flashes orange.

You could always try your luck with an E-Bay battery, but you risk getting some Chinese piece of junk fake-ish battery (so it won't work as well as a real one) instead of a Chinese made certified battery.

i tried this once when i had a t40. battery worked perfectly for about 3 days, then went to shit and was almost worthless

my mother bought a battery for her 1500 series (cant recally exactly which model) not long ago and it works great, ill try to find out where she got it.
