It's worth it to just buy alone!!! I picked up two, ended up to be about $7.50 each incl. shipping. These keyboards are the same ones that SGI sells with the lcd for the PC. I guess the were offloaded because they say SiliconGraphics and not SGI. It's not a cheap flimsy keyboard and I love the keys...

Bummer. They're $4.75, but $6 shipping. :(

$11.75 is decent price for a keyboard, but I just can't live with paying $6 shipping on a $4.75 item. :(

Just buy 5 of them and you'll only be paying a bit over $1 for shipping. I should've bought more than 2...

compgeeks has great shipping prices if buy lots of stuff.

I bought $60 worth of stuff and shipping as only $7 UPS ground. The keyboard is in that shipment. I was hoping it was gonna be nice keyboard.

Don't forget to pickup the cheap Asound USB hub they have.

They ship from somewhere near Irvin, and it takes them a day or two to process it. Usually gets to me in 3 or 4 days (I live in So Cal also though).

thommy: so this feels pretty good, maybe like black IBM keyboard they had a little while ago?

it says silicon graphics on it... isn't that reason enough to buy it?

Why don't keyboards have the backwards-L enter key nowadays?! All of these keyboard deals are worthless to me without it =(.

I use to be a L-shaped Enter person, but somehow I converted...but it just depends on the manufacturer.

$10 for a USB keyboard ain't that bad though.. The fact that it's black just sweetens the deal :)

Do ya'll know if it's ps/2 compatible also? All usb keyboards I've seen either comes with an adapter or has two cables, one for ps/2 and one for usb. I doubt this one has two cables but does it come with an adapter? I don't have a use for a usb keyboard cause I'm using a switch box for ps/2 devices.

Nope, doesn't come with an adapter, I've seen USB keyboards that are USB only.

The Asound USB hub is pretty cheap, 12.95, plus there's always the 10% code. Just look around, they have lots of odd items here and there, usually CDRs are pretty decent there also.

Anyone that gets one of these please let us know if when you hold down backspace if it deletes real fast like a regular keyboard. I have a USB Sony VAIO keyboard that backspaces like a granny wearing cement boots -- annoying as heck =)

I have the Microsoft Natural Keyboard (USB), and the backspeace works normal on it. This keyboard deal is tempting. Anyone know if these are heavy?

Check here. Bob61 found a good deal on what looks like a solid middle of the road 19" monitor. Of course, you're unlikely to get a keyboard into the same box as the monitor, but you did ask :)
