edit: Maybe not that much of a better deal. Dedicated video is cool, but the extra battery was a nice freebie. Plus SXGA.

I lugged around almost 8 lb laptops for years. I'm happy with a 3 lb-er now. I wouldn't have it any other way.

That is a decent deal for that model and those specs. The vid card leaves something to be desired, but if you aren't using it for graphic intensive applications, or gaming it should be fine.
