I am looking for a vacuum primarily for cleaning my vehicle's interior. I have no outlet close to where I park or I would just pick up one of the red and black shop vacs and call it a day. I will occasionally use it to clean certain areas of my apartment which contains all hardwood floors with the exception of tile in the bathroom. I am considering the Shark ix140 from wally world but am open to other options. I'd like to keep this in the ~$200 range. Any recommendations for the Shark IX140 or others?

I have been happy with my Dyson DC35 (an older model). Just an FYI, several different companies make cordless shop vacs if you prefer that form factor.

If you already own a cordless tool set, look into what that brand has to offer. You'll find reviews that state this and that are best, but for basic auto cleanup, most of them would get the job done.

I'd rather get something with a flexible hose instead of a stick form factor like that Shark, and some of the hoses can be flimsy so it is a good idea to see these in person at a hardware store.
