I'm looking for a new cooler for my old Creative Annihilator Pro GeForce, the heatsink fan died and i've tried mounting a new fan on it but it won't stay so I popped off the heatsink and sanded the GPU smooth now I need a cheap decent cooler for this card. I'm planning on selling this card and probably wont get more than 20 - 25 dollars for this and so I don't want to spend a lot. I was thinking of the thermaltake crystal orb but its around 12 bucks everywhere and its too much. Is there anything in the region of say 6 bucks?

Maybe Pelikan will host those pics of his Geforce again. The previous link is dead. It looked like a moped with a 454 Hemi on it :D

That's a $5. SVC GC-68 heatsink with a Panaflo L1A...

The Ti4600 comes with four nice brass-lined holes around the core. So I drilled holes in the heatsink to match the holes and bolted it on. First I lapped the core because it was recessed under the housing by 1 or 2mm. I used AS3.

It's a bit much to go thru for you, but it would be fun to do I'm sure :)

If you can find them, then the Thermaltake BlueOrb or Crystal Orb will be perfect. If you want decent cooling, them your going to have to pay. Its not like 12 bucks will break the bank.
