I built my first computer with a Macron p/s, and found it to be very stable and reliable. Plus, at least on the one I had, I liked the straight through airflow, versus the bottom to back airflow, to help pull some heat off the cd drives (especially handy if you have a couple exhaust fans on the back of the case anyways).

Good find! :)

12V at 15A is pretty good but not great. I think 12V is what feeds the cpu so that's about
180 Watts available?

I see other PS claiming 20+ Amps but for this price + the case definitely a good deal.

At that price, just toss the power supply...that's a helluv a deal. I went to order one but the seller has no ratings. It directs you to a dumb Yahoo store that anybody can setup. There's a link to resellerratings.com on their page but they have no evals. Then, if you click on the eTrust logo at the bottom, it takes you to Yahoo's privacy page. Obviously, if you click on the eTrust logo there, it shows it's valid for "Yahoo" and not the store.supergooddeal.com site. If someone can vouch for this place, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

They seem legit. Well, they at least have an established ebay store. Their username is super-good-deal. They have 466 feedbacks with a 99.4% rating. Looks like they've been on ebay for over 1.5 years and recently decided to open a yahoo store.

Btw, their price on ebay is $14.99+$25.00 ship so basically the same price as the yahoo website. :)

edit: wow, I'm averaging 1 post per year! fyi: damn, it took me a while to figure out my username/password! :D

Humm.....that seems good. Maybe just what the doctor ordered, but I wish one of the ATers had some experience with them. Anyone else?

EDIT - Nevermind, just do a search for "realcase" and they popup all over.

Anyone ever used one of these?

You might want to contact some of the people on ebay that have purchased it from him. I'm still sitting on the fence on it as well though...don't really need another computer atm....but so tempting....

Yes, directron has nice cases, as well as some hard-to-find accessories.
I have ordered numerous part from them, and I am extremely satisfied with them.

Got my case yesterday.

I must say, I'm very impressed. The cases seem to be VERY good quality! I stuffed my rig in it in a little under an hour and it fired right up.

Some drawbacks that I noticed were: Those things on the side of the door aren't fans - there's only one rear fan in this unit. You'll have to add a front and another rear, and you may want to seal the side vents to promote air flow.

But all in all, it's quite a good case.

But you can screw on case fans on the side door right? Atleast it looks like you can from the pics.
