The title says it. I see newegg has some that fall into this price range. Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Consider a CRT? 19" LCD probably won't be very good at $200, and 17" isn't that much screen real estate.

Check Hot Deals or FS/FT forum. I'm not aware of any 19" LCDs retailing for $200. 17" LCDs give you as much Windows desktop real estate as 19" ones, at least any of the ones selling today with 1280x1024.

Space constrictions regarding CRT (Katrina forced us to move into a smaller space until rebuild, and my office equipment already takes up a lot of space...), and even though I have an extra 17" CRT, it has to be LCD. You're right about the 19" (although they are closer to $300...). And, given that she is used to a 17" CRT, 17" LCD will be roomier.

Thanks for the pointer, and of course, you are right regarding the real estate. I will check Hot Deals.

Thanks,
