That's a good price, but you may want to be careful with delta drives. They used to be a major supplier to Hi-Val and from what I've heard are frequently DOA or soon thereafter. You may be better with one of the Toshiba , Pioneer deals that have been posted. Then again, you can pick this drive up in a store with a coupon, which saves hassle and credit card usage. Good deal if you like Delta.

I don't have the add with me right now but I remember seeing a CompUSA ad for a 12x DVD-Rom for $54 after rebates. Sorry, can't remember the brand.

Delta is not even good with cd-rom drive.... i bought the 50x and it just died 5 days later. at least i got to install my system with it

Their online system won't accept both $30 coupon and the $30 Altec speaker coupon... you have to phone in.

It is legit, as $30 is product specific, $30 is general coupon.

This drive sucks, I bought it when it was about 70 before. Doesn't play DVDs well, takes a long time to spin up/recognize discs. Don't get this if you don't have to.

I had a 48x cdrom delta drive.. Theres a reason why they sell them cheap.. Got a nec 12x dvd now and love it
