I've only been to Angelfire & Taos in Feb/Mar as well, but I seem to remember hearing they have to make a lot of snow in early winter.

It's spelled Taos

It just depends if we have a wet winter or not. Sometimes we get good snow storms through out Nov-Dec. Sometimes we don't get the snow till Jan-March. My advice, check the snow report on one of our news channels before you go.

Yeah, good call. Although right now it's been pretty wet, so hopefully that will carry into the winter.

I skied last year to Taos from December 18-24, and the snow was great.

there's plenty of snow in northern new mexico by December. Angelfire should be open by then. Taos and Santa Fe usually get good snow by then as well but Taos is not open to snowboarders. Don't expect good snow in the Sandia mountains in Albuquerque.

Is it overdeveloping or getting rundown?
