I'm just glad I never got sucked into this - the rest of my friends had been, but thankfully they decided to quit somewhat recently, and I am glad they did.

Meh, I'm going back. It was a bad influence on my life for several years, but I've figured out a way to balance it. Or rather, my schedule has. I no longer have the time to raid, and without raiding it's not so bad at all. I renewed last week after about 6 months and I'm going to take my time and enjoy leveling from 1 to 85 (worgen) at my own pace. I had a lot of fun two Novembers ago getting realm first 80 warrior and human (although I had no intention to at all), but that part of my life is over.

I'm going back. I've already told my guildmates, though, that it's pretty unlikely I'll ever join the raiding game again. I want to mess around and experience the new content and hang out with my guildies, but I'm done spending 3 hours 4 nights/week raiding (plus additional time farming gold to support raiding)

thinking about starting a worgen mage and playing the post-Cataclysm world up from level 1.
